Attendance at any Washington Wine Academy event is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will make every effort to accommodate all guests, but there are times when an event might be full, and we will not be able to accept further reservations. All reservations are prepaid with a major credit card or check.

Attendance Policy:

You must be at least 21 years old to attend our events, and we check everyone's ID, regardless of age. If a guest is unable to show proof of age, they will not be able to attend the event, and no refund will be issued.

Refusal of Service:

Washington Wine Academy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. In order to ensure the safety and happiness of all our guests, attendees will be asked to leave should they conduct themselves in an unbecoming manner including, but not limited to: intoxication, harassment, verbal, or physical assault on any guest or Washington Wine Academy associate.

Snow Policy:

In the event of wintery conditions, the Washington Wine Academy will continue to run classes as long as the Metro remains in operation. In extreme cases, the Washington Wine Academy reserves the right to cancel, though these circumstances will be considered on an individual basis. If that occurs, all efforts will be taken to notify participants via the means of communication provided to us by them. Please check main website page for weather status.

Cancellation Policy:

Washington Wine Academy will discuss certifcation cancellations on a case by case basis- it is not our policy to issue cash refund, but we will work with you to reschedule to a more accomodating time for you. We understand certifications are a several week committment and scheduling problems may arise.
